Movie Up House

For 2021 resolution, I have set goal, inspired by the movie Up.

There's a scene in the movie where Carl empties out all household items filled with memories with Ellie to fly and save Russell. It wouldn't have been easy to let go of fond memories. Maybe the time has come, maybe he wanted to let go to fill his life with new love. But He did. He let go of the psat.

Letting go of control and being flexible with harsh life challenges would be hard. Letting go of my desires to welcome perhaps undesirable things will probably be painful. But by letting go and emptying out, we can be filled with the present that brings new joy, experience, and fulfillment.

Below is the picture of the Up house (which was inspired by a real house in Utah) , the sketch and the final product. It's a simple house but it has many layers of building materials. It took time to finish, but it will be a motivational piece for this year.
